The Consequence Of Disregard is a contemporary limited edition print from my Of a [Familiar] Nature series, created in 2025. Digitally hand-drawn, the work reflects on the relationship between nature and the built world, and on the ways human presence shapes the spaces around us. In this piece, I was thinking about good intentions left unmet, and the way they fade mournfully into the mists of should have, could have. For me, the work is about the gap between intention and action. A fire does not burn from the promise of wood. Care, attention, and responsibility mean very little if they remain only implied or postponed. The piece sits in that uneasy space where neglect is not always loud or dramatic, but its consequences are still real. Offered as a limited-edition archival pigment print on paper, framed in a 2" solid white wood frame, in two sizes: 38" x 38" framed, edition of 5; and 26" x 26" framed, edition of 10.
