He worked for Paramount Studios in Hollywood and was an apprentice of Cecil B. Demilles and scene director P.T. Blackburn. He was exclusively contracted to Hillside Galleries starting in 1957. His work is notably recognized throughout the U.S. and has recently become more recognized throughout the world. His paintings are characterized by deep, high relief, impasto where the paint appears cut by a knife. His work is classic mid-century, perfectly blending with interiors and decor of the time.
