Luini (1913–2002) was an American painter and portrait artist best known for his Mid-Century impressionist features works. Born in New York City, he spent much of his professional life between New York and New England, particularly North Providence and Attleboro.  Luini was a graduate of the Art Students League of New York, a prestigious school known for training many prominent American artists. He worked as an artist and portrait painter for the Dieges & Clust Company in New York City and Attleboro for 40 years before retiring in 1978.
