Cooper moved to New York to follow her passion as an artist and studied painting at the Art Student’s League. She was soon exhibiting her artwork in shows throughout the Northeast; winning National Competitions in juried shows at the National Academy of Design and Newport Festival of the Artist. Cooper also had many one-woman shows in galleries in New York, Chicago, East Hampton and throughout the East Coast.
