This exquisite hand-carved Black Forest cuckoo clock is a stunning addition to any home, showcasing intricate details with numerous leaves, three charming birds, and a cozy bird nest complete with chicks. Every hour, the delightful dancers gracefully revolve while the clock plays one of two enchanting twenty-two-note melodies, the classic Edelweiss and the beloved Happy Wanderer. Three cast iron pine cone weights, suspended by elegant brass chains, add to the clock's traditional charm, and the hand-made pendulum ensures accurate timekeeping. On the hour, the cuckoo bird emerges from a swinging door above the clock dial, announcing the time with a cheerful cuckoo call one cuckoo for each hour, and a single call for the half hour. A convenient sound shut-off device allows you to disable the cuckoo and music, or enable the dancers, music, and cuckoo sounds. Powered by a 30-hour mechanical Regula movement, the clock is easily wound once per day by raising the three pine cone weights, each controlling a different function: time, music, and the cuckoo bird, boy and girl seesawing, and waterwheel. Please note that as with all handmade items, slight variations in coloration and carving may occur, adding to the unique character of each individual clock.
