Marvelous pair of mid-century bellflower-shaped sconces in murano mouth-blown crystal glass and solid brass. These wonderful lights were produced in italy by barovier during the 1950s. In fantastic condition, with no chips or cracks. These finely crafted murano sconces feature magnificent shades recalling the shape of a bellflower, with exquisite detailing. The glass was mouth-blown by murano artisans of the time in beautiful clear crystal, which looks its best when illuminated. The structure and backplate are made of solid brass with floral decorations on the sides and arm. The lamps come wired and tested, compatible with both us and eu/uk standards, and use a single e14 light bulb. The backplate and arm are in solid brass, preserved with their natural patina, giving the metal a warm golden tone that enhances their charm and historical value. An incredibly elegant and unique pair of sconces, perfect to complete a mid-century-style living room or a classic entrance hall.
