Stilnovo Style Pair Of Italian Wall Sconces In Painted Metal And Brass

Chairish

$1,234

We kindly invite you to read the entire description, as it includes both technical and historical information that will help ensure the authenticity of our pieces. Iconic and refined pair of wall sconces made of brass, featuring two opposing truncated-cone reflectors. Both cones are crafted from sheet metal, painted gray on the outside and white on the inside. The bulb sockets are positioned inside the cones, while the electrical wires run through brass tubes that keep the cones distanced from the wall. At the ends of these tubes are two round, sliding, and adjustable plates that conceal the wires and the hook used to secure the sconces to the wall. The tubes are connected to the center of the cones via a joint that allows full 360° rotation, so the sconces can be adjusted according to your taste or interior needs. When switched on, each sconce casts two opposing beams of light on the wall, each matching the diameter of the cones. These sconces were handcrafted in Italy between 2000 and 2005 in a workshop specializing in lighting design, in the style of the renowned Italian manufacturer Stilnovo. They became symbols of elegance during those years and left an indelible mark on the world of design and fashion. Dimensions • Length: 30 cm (11.8 in)• Height: 23 cm (9 in)• Depth: 10 cm (3.9 in). The sconces are in good condition; the electrical system has been completely replaced. The wiring is European standard: we recommend checking voltage compatibility with a qualified electrician before use outside the EU. We use tailored packing materials (such as wooden crates, polystyrene, etc.) to ensure maximum protection and safety during shipping.
