The Tiles Moon Wall Sconce from Violaine D'Harcourt is shaped around a single hand-crafted ceramic tile, produced in collaboration with Dutch designer Marianne Smink at a small workshop in Coimbra, Portugal. Screen-printed by hand in natural tones, each tile carries slight differences in its surface that come directly from the making process. The sconce casts light indirectly onto the ceramic face, producing a soft, diffused quality that reflects the care put into the object.
