Art Deco Armchair In The Style Of Erich Dieckmann, 1930s

A beautiful armchair from the 1930s. The chair strongly resembles the high-backed armchair by Bauhaus designer Erich Dieckmann. It cannot be ruled out that this is also a piece by Dieckmann. The original and undamaged paper cord weave and the armrests correspond exactly to Dieckmann's design. Only the lower support, which is straight on Dieckmann's well-known armchair, follows the curve of the armrest itself. This detail might even make this chair more visually appealing to some. The chair shows numerous signs of age, resulting in a wonderful patina. However, it is perfectly stable and ready for use.
