This is a beechwood armchair with tattered seat by Jan Vanek in Czechoslovakia in 1930s. The armchair is in good original condition. Wear consistent with age and use. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no official proof of authenticity, however it is well documented in design history.
