Charming pair of armchairs of Neo-Renaissance style dating from the end of the 19th century. The base is said to be in lion's paw for the front legs. The crosspiece connecting the legs is composed of frieze of four-lobed ovals decorated with flowers. The uprights are straight and decorated with geometric patterns and a flower in the center. The armrests are carved with floral motifs and a lion's head. The top of the backrest uprights are carved with an acanthus leaf. The tapestry is patterned with bouquets of flowers and in very good condition.
