20th century Swedish birch low open bookcase, circa 1950. Here we present a fully refurbished low open bookcase cupboard from Sweden. Rectangular shape with a shallow depth, which offers maximum storage without taking up much space.  Fitted with 2 drawers below the top surface and a single door cupboard, veneered in satin birch, which opens to reveal 2 shelves inside.  The main area for books and display items contains 1 semi-adjustable shelf.  all raised on shaped fluted feet. Rich golden colour and french polished by hand in our workshop. Minor surface fading to top surface.
