Coming from a great local Rye New York estate, with great pleasure we offer you this Vintage 20th C American Carved Wood, Copper and Brass Chandelier. Main feature on this beauty queen is a bronze figure of a spread wing American Eagle standing on the top, appearing to be clutching the fixture in it's talons. three arms (lights), each curved arm made of copper, ending in brass candle holder cup and beobache. Center body is made in sections, spindle carved beautiful rich color mahogany. This is a designer mid-century made high end example, mix of federal and modern styles. Previous owner paid quadruple our asking price. Condition is good, showing light age / use wear, new wiring (please see photos). Size is great for any house or apartment at 23" height from bottom to the first chain link, and it is 17" diameter wide. There is couple of feet of extra wire present (if hung lower). This will work with traditional American or English, or mid-century modern setting.
