A fine quality mid 19th century, Louis Philippe period, French library table. Of excellent construction in solid mahogany and embellished with crisply cast gilt bronze mounts and fitted with brass banding and fluting throughout. with a single long drawer to the front, replete with a central gilt bronze mount (repeated to the rear of the table). Standing on elegant turned and fluted legs which terminate in original castors. United by a beautiful double lyre under-stretcher.
