Vintage Razorblade Dining Chairs In Oak By Henning Kjaernulf, 1960s, Set Of 6

Chairish

$3,723

Set of Six “Razorblade” Dining Chairs by Henning Kjaernulf, Oak, 1960s A striking set of six oak dining chairs by Danish designer Henning Kjaernulf, often referred to as the “Razorblade” model for their dramatic, sculpted backrests. The bold, rhythmic cut-outs paired with turned legs give the chairs a distinctive, almost architectural presence—classic Kjaernulf: rustic, sculptural, and unmistakably Danish. The solid oak frames show beautiful grain and warm tone throughout. Seats are upholstered in a navy and gold striped fabric, perfectly serviceable but offering an easy opportunity for updating to suit a new interior. There is small hole in the side of one of the seats. This is shown in the photos. A highly decorative and sought-after set that brings character, craftsmanship, and a touch of whimsy to the dining room. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no official proof of authenticity, however it is well documented in design history. I take full responsibility for any authenticity issues arising from misattribution
