Vintage restored extension dining table in breathtaking flame mahogany, similar in style to Baker’s “Marina” table from the Archetype collection. Resembling a fountain of fire or the feathers of a phoenix, flame mahogany offers striking grain patterns that are unparalleled. This wood was more commonly used in Regency or Federalist style pieces, and is rarely seen in the sleek, minimalist form factor presented here. The 82” table expands to 97” or 112” inches with the two included leaves, accommodating 10 guests with ease. Although it is unmarked, it was likely produced by Councill Craftsmen, as we acquired it alongside a set of labeled Councill chairs with which the table was originally purchased in the 1980s. It has been expertly refinished and shows beautifully. It is structurally flawless and the extension slides work perfectly. This heirloom quality piece is ready for generations of future use.
