This is a large English Regency tllt-top breakfast table. The two board solid mahogany top is well-grained and in overall very good condition, retaining an old, but not original, surface. The top has acquired a rich natural patina; there are some darker marks (deeper patina) which do not detract from the overall beauty of the table. The unusual ring-turned pedestal is supported by three elegant long saber legs terminating in beautifully articulated paw feet. The table retains its original casters; the tilt mechanism is not original. We have polished the table with several coats of paste wax.
