Swedish 19th century inlaid birch chest of drawers circa 1830. fine quality swedish commode, with inlay, stringing and contrasting stained birch. matched veneer top surface, with stringing and burr cross banding to the outside edge. canted corners with contrasting stained birch panels. fitted with 3 drawers to the front which open on the key. middle drawer with stained half moon shape, which becomes the main focus of this piece. standing on short tapering feet with ebonised tips. some minor age splits to veneer on top surface, but structurally sound.
