A rare and exceptional flush mount light by Rupert Nikoll, Vienna, manufactured in midcentury, circa 1960 (late 1950s or early 1960s).The textured glass is similar to the lights of Kalmar or Limburg from that time period.The lamp is made of a seamless brass belt with holes of varying sizes. The hot and molten glass was hand blown through the belt. The brass got a unique and wonderful patina because of the high temperature of the melted glass during the manufacturing process.Therefore each light is a one of a kind piece.Several lights are available.The price is per light.
