Several rare and exceptional pendant lights by Rupert Nikoll, Vienna, manufactured in midcentury, circa 1960 (late 1950s or early 1960s).The textured glass is similar to the lights of Kalmar or Limburg from that time period. The lamp are made of a seamless brass belt with holes of varying sizes. The hot and molten glass was hand blown through the belt. The brass got a unique and wonderful patina because of the high temperature of the melted glass during the manufacturing process. Therefore each light is a one of a kind piece. The lamps are rewired. Bulb socket, cord and polished brass canopy are renewed. They are in very good condition and ready to use.The overall drop can be customized for free of charge. On the photos there is an overall drop of ca. 35 inch (90 cm).The height of the body without cord is ca. 8.7 inch (22 cm).The polished brass canopy is renewed. The fixture takes one medium or standard Edison screw base bulb E26 or E27. It is possible to install this fixture in all countries (US, UK, Europe, Asia, Canada,) although it may be necessary to purchase different light bulbs suitable to local electricity. The price is per light. They are sold individually, as pair or as set of 3, 4 or 5 lights.Shipping cost depends on number of ordered items.
