Superb Empire-style flame mahogany bedside table from the early 19th century. A large and unusual model, measuring 82cm high and 42cm in diameter. They are more commonly 74cm high. This makes it a versatile piece, suitable as a bedside table, column, or side table. It is cylindrical in shape and rests on a molded plinth. A semicircular door opens in the front to reveal two shelves. It is topped with a gray marble slab. Superb patina and in magnificent condition.
