A set of 2 large 24.5" tall Northern Italian Baroque hand carved wood putti angel figural sculptures mounted on wood bases. Late 18th-Century to early 19th-Century, they have remnants of original paint and gilt. They were probably in a church or cathedral. They may at one time have been fitted with a halo. They are lovely decorative figural accents, with tremendous character and charm. We found them in an antiques fair in Parma, Italy. Dimensions are for each.
