This is a beautiful antique George III flame mahogany secretaire chest on chest, circa 1770 in date. It features a stunning cornice with dental work to the frieze, blind fretwork to the top and the sides with beautiful carved decoration. The top section consists of three long and two short drawers, the lower section two long drawers and the secretaire section has a fall front that opens to reveal a fitted interior with a cupboard, pigeon holes, small drawers and a writing surface. It stands proudly on bracket feet, offering a sturdy foundation while highlighting its elegant proportions and comes in two pieces to for ease of delivery.
