PERIOD 17th century Jacobean oak joint stool from England. The top of the stool has a hand routed banding around the top, and has pegged construction. The top is supported on a gorgeous base, with hand scalloped and carved decorated aprons. The legs are splayed and hand turned, and are connected by simple stretchers. The entire stool has gorgeous wear and patina. This is one of those pieces we feel so lucky to be able to offer for sale because of its rarity. Just think of what this stool has seen!
