Baroque walnut chest. Paneled front with a central shield depicting a pair of cherubs, ribbons, and curls. Side panels modified and converted into a pair of doors. Uprights carved with caryatids, lower molding with leaf and fruit carvings, and feral feet. Modifications. Italy, early 17th century. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker.
