Electra table or ceiling lamp. Designed in 1968 by Giuliana Gramigna and produced by Artemide. Lacquered metal and opaline glass in shades of white. Can be used as a table lamp or ceiling light. Comes with its original metal ring, which holds the central glass in place when used with a ceiling light. with a 4-position switch: off, with the outer bulbs on, the central bulb on, and all 4 bulbs on. The rubber gasket protecting the contact point between the two glass panes has been replaced with a more efficient one; the original gasket will still be supplied with the lamp (see photos). Requires standard E27 bulbs. Compatible with LED bulbs. Bulbs not included. The lamp has been cleaned and tested. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no official proof of authenticity, however it is well documented in design history.
