A sculptural table lamp designed by Giuliana Gramigna for Artemide, Italy, circa 1960s–1970s. The lamp features a striking composition of opaline Murano glass formed as a large, softly rounded elliptical diffuser surmounted by a spherical dome element. The seamless white glass emits a warm, diffused glow when illuminated, emphasizing the futuristic, space-age character associated with Italian modernist lighting of the period. The diffuser rests on a minimal circular metal base , providing contrast to the smooth, luminous glass form. Its clean geometric silhouette and balanced proportions reflect the experimental approach to lighting design emerging in postwar Italy.
