I've seen hundreds of marked and unmarked vintage Capodimonte style lamps, none quite like these. The combination of the hand painted floral pattern in hues of olive green, apricot, maroon, and sky blue with true gold detailing, plus the signature antique brass base featuring sculpted Dolphins is quite remarkable. Completely rewired, cloth covered cord with off/on switch and new antique brass sockets. Authentic Capodimonte (first produced in the mid-1700's) is known for its delicate, detailed modeling, high quality porcelain and intricate hand painted decorations. These lamps have all of that and the artist signature, what is missing is the company mark which doesn't make them any less great. Forget about them being in grandmas house or a museum, imagine them in a minimal Italian modern room with a simple linen drum shade as unexpected art that lights your room as well.
