Oil Painting by well known artist Parker Newton (1861-1928) of New York and Canada. Nice oil painting on artist board depicting a tug and a sailboat in what appears to be a harbor. Most likely New york. In original condition, could possibly use a very light cleaning but displays nicely. Signed in the lower left W P Newton, the signature is a little obscured but it is also written in pencil on the rear of the piece W Parker Newton. Sight size is 12" by 8" and an overall of 15 1/2" by 11 1/2".
