Japanese scroll of a Buddhist rakan, colored inks on silk mounted on a silk brocade of a light gold and dark brown floral pattern on a darker gold ground, with gold and white silk brocade ichimonji and futai, and white jikusaki. Both the ten and ji are brown silk. A freely drawn rakan with a mandorla, cloak and interesting feet. Signed, with two red ink seal marks. Image size 141/4" wide x 34" high. Circa early 20th century no later than mid century.
