This mid 20th century modern gouache on paper entitled "Sketch #2 for Kirby's Restaurant Mario Coidano" is by San Francisco North Beach artist Martin Snipper (1914-2008). Snipper studied at the National Academy of Art In New York and exhibited at the San Francisco Art Museum's (later to become SFMOMA) annual exhibitions. He was Director of the San Francisco Art Festival and Arts Commission. Estate stamped lower right. The piece will be shipped in a mat to fit a standard sized frame.
