The Cord Linear Suspension from Ravenhill Studio is a study in balance and precision, merging refined materials with inspired engineering. This fixture is anchored at two points for balance and draws influence from Jean Prouvé’s Potence Lamp, featuring hand-cast ceramic sockets made in Los Angeles. Slender metal rods extend from central hubs, supporting two constellations of light sockets that distribute a warm, even glow. Cloth-covered power cords weave through the upper openings of each socket, creating structural tension that keeps the structure strong and supportive without unnecessary weight, resulting in a visually light yet functionally dynamic design.
