The SE 42 chair was designed by the architect Egon Eiermann in 1949 and is made of plywood. Its shape and structure are absolutely groundbreaking for 1950s design. The chair comes from the chair collection of an important German architect and definitely shows signs of the times, has a beautiful patina overall and is ready for immediate use. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no official proof of authenticity, however it is well documented in design history. I take full responsibility for any authenticity issues arising from misattribution
