The Peacock is a contemporary limited edition print from my Of a [Familiar] Nature series, created in 2025. Digitally hand-drawn, the work reflects on the relationship between nature and the built world, and on the ways human presence shapes the spaces around us. I In this piece I was interested in the tension between simply witnessing beauty and wanting to frame it, elevate it, or contain it. The gold ribbon suggests that human habit of assigning worth, while the rest of the work sits in that familiar space between reverence and interference. Like the other works in this series, it reflects on the uneasy balance between the organic world and the structures we place around it. Offered as a limited-edition archival pigment print on paper, framed in a 2" solid white wood frame, in two sizes: 38" x 38" framed, edition of 5; and 26" x 26" framed, edition of 10.
